How it works

Forever a Star is a sky of stars, and each named star is a memorial for a pet someone loved. Making one takes a few minutes and costs nothing.

1. Find a star

Open the sky and move around it. Every star without a name is free to claim, so choose the one that feels right. A quiet corner, a place near a bright star, or simply the one your eye keeps returning to.

2. Claim it

Claiming a star needs a free account. The star then carries your pet's name, and it stays theirs.

3. Write the memorial

Add the dates, the kind of animal and, if you like, the breed. Write a tribute in your own words, as short or as long as you need, and choose a photograph for the cover.

Afterwards

• Every memorial has its own link to share with family and friends.
• Visitors with an account can leave a heart or write in the guestbook. You decide whether messages appear at once, wait for your approval, or are not accepted at all.
• You can change the memorial whenever you want, and delete it if you ever need to.
• Premium adds room for up to 100 photographs and a timeline of the moments you shared. More about Premium.
